Tenure-Track Position in Applied Mathematics
The University of Michigan-Dearborn invites applications for one or two tenure-track assistant professor positions in mathematics beginning September 1, 2012. The position requires a Ph.D. in applied mathematics and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate mathematics. The standard teaching load is 18 credits per year. Incoming assistant professors receive released time for a total of three courses (nine credit hours) to be used during the first five years of the six-year probationary period to allow more time for teaching and research. Excellence in teaching, research, and service are required for tenure.
