Faculty to Present Research at Social Sciences Colloquia

The Social Sciences Department’s Fall 2009 Research Colloquia series will highlight research by several Social Sciences faculty. 

All presentations will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in 1165 Social Sciences Building unless otherwise noted.  

On October 27, Dr. Dale Thomson, will present "Grants to Governance:  The Evolving Role of Grantors' Performance Measures Among Nonprofit Public Service Providers."

Then, on November 10, Dr. Sally Howell will present "Building Islam in Detroit."

Dr. Trevor Thrall will present “Facts, Frames and Fancies: Crafted Talk and the Limits of Threat Inflation” on November 24

Dr. Lara Rusch will wind up the series on December 15 when she presents her outcome evaluation of Habitat for Humanity’s work in Detroit.  (please note:  time is from 1:00-2:00 p.m.)
