The University of Michigan-Dearborn offers two Masters of Science in Psychology degrees. The Clinical Health Psychology track focuses on training students to be clinicians and provides the coursework necessary to fulfill the state of Michigan requirements for the Limited License in Psychology. The Health Psychology track provides students with intensive training in one or more content areas within Health Psychology.
Admission Requirements

A BA or BS degree in Psychology or a related field with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0

Undergraduate classes in Introductory Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Statistics required; Health Psychology and Research Methods recommended but not required

GRE (Graduate Record Examination) general test scores with a minimum score of 1000

If English is a second language, the TOEFL

Three letters of recommendation (at least two of which are academic)

A completed application and the application fee

Although we will continue to consider applications until both programs are full, we strongly recommend that you have all required application materials in by March 15th. We receive a large number of applications and individuals submitting late applications significantly reduce their chances of admission.
