We were very pleased when Jorge Gonzalez Del Pozo decided to teach SPAN 406, Advanced Written Expression, as a blended course for CASL Online during winter semester last year. Written expression is an exciting stage of language learning, at which students expand their range of expression. This course had some on-campus, in class, traditional lectures, and some online activities. The course presented an attractive multimedia approach to learning, making it easier for students to fulfill required classes with class formats that offerer more flexibility for their busy lives. At the same time, this course added online Learning opportunities to our upper-level online offerings and updated the Spanish discipline, Modern and Classical Languages, and College of Arts Sciences and Letters in achieving a teaching methodology according to the technological era we live in and the needs of the future graduates of 21st century. Jorge looks forward to teaching more online courses in the near future and we definitely look forward toward him doing so.
