JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary task will be reading child care and early education research-based publications, writing brief descriptions (30-50 words) to describe them, selecting appropriate classification tags and subject terms to further group them by theme, and entering this information into a database using a Web-based program. This position will provide students interested in child care and early education policy the opportunity to read hundreds of journal articles and research publications directly related to their field of study. This position is also ideal for students interested in library and information sciences, especially indexing, abstracting, and the application of topical classification systems.
