All entries must be your original work; no collaboratively-authored manuscripts can be considered.
Your entries may not have been previously published (except in student publications).

Manuscript Format
To ensure objectivity, you should choose a Pen Name. Neither the judges nor the administrators of the contest will know your identity until the winners have been determined. Type this pen name on every page of your manuscript. Your real name should appear only on the entry form.
Each manuscript must be typed, double-spaced, and submitted with a cover sheet giving pen name, manuscript title (or titles, for poetry), and the name of the category you are entering. Submit two copies of your entry. (Poetry should be submitted as a single entry).
Place both copies of your manuscript, with a cover sheet for each, in a large envelope. Put the entry form below (or a sheet containing all this information) in a separate sealed envelope and place this envelope in the large sealed envelope. Write your Pen Name and category on both envelopes and submit one large envelope to the Writing Program Office, 3018 CASL Building.
All entries must be submitted to the Writing Program Office (3018CB) by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2008. Manuscripts will not be returned.
