The Department of Literature, Philosophy, and the Arts, in collaboration with African and African American Studies and Women's and Gender Studies, invites you to join us for the first presentation of The HUMANITAS 2012-13 Lecture Series Featuring AURORA HARRIS Winner of the 2012 PEN Oakland-Josephine Miles Award for Excellence in Literature Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 3:00pm-4:15pm in 1072 CB
Ms. Harris, a University of Michigan-Dearborn lecturer (English and African and African American Studies), will read from her award-winning poetry collection Solitude of Five Black Moons, co-published by Broadside Press and University of Detroit-Mercy Press.
Light refreshments will be served.
