We are looking for volunteers to mentor participants for the day-long On the Move workshop. No experience necessary! A short training is provided at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event. Mentors travel with small groups of participants throughout the day.
Volunteer mentors should support the notion of the empowerment of people through education, and
- be able to commit approximately eight hours of time on March 14, 2013
- have an interest in helping others to succeed
- be nonjudgmental
- be willing to share relevant experiences
- be willing to give us input on the experience
