We offer a wide range of courses taught by some of the university's most talented instructors and accomplished scholars. Indeed, a great many of our faculty have been formally recognized through university and professional awards for the excellence of their teaching and scholarship.
The department is very proud of its majors and the training they recieve. Our alumni/ae work as teachers, lawyers, doctors, CEOs, professors, in local, state, and federal government, and in many other fields.
