Alumni
Occasional reunions are a great way to keep in touch with former classmates and econ professors here at UMD. Participate in the life of the Economics Discipline through jointly organized activities and through this website.
You can also participate and contribute to the Discipline by helping our students with Career Development:
- Share your experience and skills as a guest lecturer in a course
- Enlighten students by discussing career options, the skills involved in each one, and the best ways they can prepare for these future challenges
- Host a student for a day at your workplace
- Set up a term co-op or internship opportunity for an economics student at your workplace
- Liaise for students with your firm or organization
- Advise or tutor a student through e-mail or telephone
If you are interested in any of these activities send us an e-mail by clicking on the "Let Us Know" tab.
