Virtually every CASL program offers students the opportunity to engage in independent study or research under the direction of a faculty member. Opportunities for developing leadership skills or becoming engaged in the community in an academic context are also prevalent.
CASL Undergraduate Student Research Showcase: An opportunity for selected CASL students to present their research projects for the entire UM-Dearborn campus to enjoy.
Meeting of Minds: The annual undergraduate research conference involving students from UM-Dearborn, UM-Flint, and Oakland University, is held annually in May since 1993.
Women in Learning and Leadership: An academic program connecting coursework with community leadership for undergraduate women.
