Program Activities

Besides offering a wide range of advanced ocurses on a regular basis, the French discipline schedules a variety of extracurricular activities to support its academic program.  Prominent American and French businessmen and government officials are invited to participate in panel discussions of international affairs and commerce and to speak, as guest lecturers in individual classes.  Special film series are organized to provide students with in-depth treatment of important themes and aspects of French literature and culture.

Students have the opportunity to participate in the French club,  Le Club Francophone, which organizes various events each semester such as excursions to museums, French film viewings, and sampling of French cuisine in local restaurants.

The Honors Convocation is a gathering of our best students, along with their families and friends, to recognize and celebrate their achievements during the academic year.
