Phi Alpha Theta

 
Phi Alpha Theta (PAT) is a national History honors fraternity open to both men and women.

Interested students are invited to consider joining UM-D's Alpha Delta Omega chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, a national History honors fraternity.   To be eligible, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours in history. They must also have earned an overall GPA of 3.2 and a 3.4 in their history courses. Initiation is $40 and membership is permanent.  Interested students can contact Lowell Skar (in 1300 SSB) at <lskar(at)umich.edu> or (313) 436-9181. Recruitment for the PAT typically begins near the start of the Winter term and initiations, which usually take place after a dinner, typically take place near the end of the Winter term. Student Historical Society

The Student Historical Society is currently in remission, but is well worthy of reviving.  If you have ideas about how to do that or would like to organize a meeting related to history or its study, feel free to contact Lowell Skar (in 1300 SSB)  <lskar(at)umich.edu> or (313) 436-9181 to discuss this further.
