Mathematics Learning Center Office Assistant

*WORK STUDY RECIPIENTS ONLY*

An individual needed with some computer experience; assist students in our Mathematics Learning Center with use of software; prepare forms, schedules, collect data for statistics and reports; prepare MS WORD documents and EXCEL spreadsheets; update home page; opportunity to learn new skills and improve existing skills; 3-15 hours per week; accepting applications for the Fall 2008 semester.

Mathematics Learning Center Tutor

Tutor students currently enrolled in precalculus and calculus courses at UM-D in our Mathematics Learning Center; tutor other mathematics and statistics courses, if qualified; 3-15 hours/week; hours scheduled around your classes. Qualifications: completion of (or currently taking) Calculus II or Bus Calc II. We are accepting applications for Fall 2008.

Calculus Computer Lab Assistant

Assist students with Mathematica in calculus labs.
Student must have taken or be taking Calculus III and be familiar with Mathematica.
Minimum Grade: 3.00 or better average in mathematics classes.
