Degree Program
Prerequisites
Students desiring to concentrate in psychology are required to take both of the Introductory psychology courses, Psyc 170 and Psyc 171.
Cognates
Students must also complete at least six hours in cognate courses at the 300 level or above which are to be selected from areas such as anthropology, biology, economics, education, literature, mathematics, philosophy, political science, and sociology.
Requirements
Students are required to complete at least 24 hours in upper-level (300 or above) psychology courses. This selection must include at least one course from each of the following categories:
Statistics: Psyc 381
Methods: Psyc 415, 425, 435, 444, or 465
Natural Science: Psyc 363, 370, 372, 375, 461, 463, 464, 471, or 4725
Developmental: Psyc 300, 301, 302, 315, 407, 412, or 418
Social: Psyc 320, 321, or 430
Clinical/Personality: Psyc 440, 441, 442, or 450
