Seminar
Academic credit is awarded, not for hours served, but for your ability to analyze and develop your internship within an academic context. The seminar's purpose is to help you bridge the gap between Academe and the world of employment and to explore the sometimes elusive connections.
Students should complete this course with:
- Improved ability to connect academic course work to future employment
- Several projects that explore this connection in writing and through oral presentation
- A clearer sense of their strengths, weaknesses and aspirations in the world of employment
- A portfolio of materials documenting and analyzing the internship experience
The seminar meets 3-6pm on Mondays. Contact our office for more information.
